Apabila tidak, maka akan dicap sebagai "blogger pelit". Di dunia maya pun, sebagaimana di dunia nyata, orang pelit akan selalu teralienasi. Dg kata lain, sedikit "tamu"nya. :)
Nah, bagaimana cara mengetahui ada yg mengelink blog Anda? Caranya mudah: tulis di kotak http://technorati.com/search alamat blog Anda atau blog siapa saja yg ingin Anda ketahui. 1. Apa itu blog?
Blog adalah situs pribadi. Berbeda dg website yg setiap memposting harus susah payah memakai kode ekstensi .html .php, .asp, dll, blog merupakan otomatisasi dari semua ekstensi tsb. Sehingga karena sudah diotomatisasi, maka kita-kita semua yg lugu teknologi menjadi ostosmastis dapat memposting apa yg kita inginkan persis seperti kita memposting email ke teman atau ke milis.
Dan karena kemudahan inilah, maka semua orang yg tahu internet dapat membuat blog atau situs pribadi; sama halnya dg memiliki email. Tak heran apabila pemilik blog bervariasi: mulai dari pembantu rumah tangga, ibu rumah tangga, tukang jualan sayur di pasar klewer, cewek-cewek "ramah" di pasar senggol, sampai profesor dan menteri-menteri.

Apa yang Anda lakukan bila Anda menginginkan sesuatu ?
Misalnya, Anda ingin membuka usaha atau ingin memiliki usaha dagang dan sebagainya. Kemudian Anda berpikir, "saya akan cari peluang usaha", "mencari pinjaman modal, mencari relasi dan lain-lain". Anda menemukan kendala ? Kenapa Anda belum merealisasikannya hingga sekarang ?
Kebanyakan dari kita mengulur waktu karena otak disibukan oleh "saya harus melakukan ini dulu atau itu dulu". Padahal kebenaran sering datang secara sederhana saja. Sudah sangat banyak artikel yang ditulis mengenai belief atau kepercayaan. Saya juga sudah sangat sering menyinggung mengenai belief dalam berbagai artikel saya. Namun, semakin saya mempelajari belief semakin banyak hal baru saya temukan dan semakin banyak insight yang saya dapat.
Apakah sebenarnya belief?
Kamus elektronika Encarta mendefiniskan belief/kepercayaan sebagai: - acceptance of truth of something: acceptance by the mind that something is true or real, often underpinned by an emotional or spiritual sense of certainty (penerimaan kebenaran akan sesuatu: penerimaan oleh pikiran bahwa sesuatu adalah benar atau nyata, sering kali didasari oleh perasaan pasti yang bersifat emosional atau spiritual) - trust: confidence that somebody or something is good or will be effective (percaya: keyakinan bahwa seseorang atau sesuatu adalah baik atau akan efektif) - something that somebody believes in: a statement, principle, or doctrine that a person or group accepts as true (sesuatu yang orang percaya: pernyataan, prinsip, atau doktrin yang seseorang atau seklompok orang terima sebagai hal yang benar) - opinion: an opinion, especially a firm and considered one (pendapat: sebuah pendapat, khususnya yang kokoh dan telah dipertimbangkan) - religious faith: faith in God or in a religion's gods (keyakinan agama: kepercayaan/iman terhadap Tuhan atau terhadap para dewa/i)
Sejalan dengan definisi di atas maka belief adalah ide yang kita yakini kebenarannya dan kita tidak lagi mempertanyakan kebenaran dari ide tersebut, padahal belum tentu ide ini benar-benar-benar/valid. Belief adalah program pikiran yang aktif dan bekerja di latar belakang komputer mental/pikiran, bergerak di antara pikiran sadar dan pikiran bawah sadar kita. Setiap belief merupakan ringkasan atau kesimpulan, yang dulunya dibuat oleh pikiran sadar, terhadap suatu pengalaman dari kejadian di masa lalu. Ringkasan atau kesimpulan ini adalah generalisasi terhadap suatu situasi tertentu, cara untuk mencapai atau menghindari sesuatu. Setiap beliefmemberikan short cut atau “instruksi jalan pintas” bagaimana kita harus bersikap, bertindak, dan berperilaku.
Beberapa dari belief kita sangat bermanfaat, konstruktif, suportif, dan membawa kita semakin dekat dengan apa yang kita inginkan dalam hidup. Ada juga belief yang sudah ”ketinggalan jaman”, sudah nggak mode lagi, sudah kuno dan menghambat perjalanan kita dalam mencapai impian. Untuk belief seperti ini kita perlu segera memodifikasi, merekonstruksi, atau bahkan menggantinya dengan belief baru. Hal senada dengan lugas dikatakan oleh Richard Bishop, “The art of living deliberately is the art of examining this vast storehouse of beliefs, dropping the out-moded ones, consciously choosing those that serve your goals, and carefully crafting new ones in greatest alignment with your desires”. (Seni hidup dengan tujuan yang jelas adalah seni memeriksa gudang besar belief, membuang yang kuno, secara sadar memilih yang mendukung pencapaian tujuan-tujuan anda, dan secara hati-hati mengukir belief baru yang sejalan dengan impian anda).
Memahami belief system akan memudahkan dan memberdayakan kita untuk ”melihat”, menganalisis, dan mengganti belief yang tidak mendukung. Sebaliknya kita juga dapat semakin memperkuat dan memanfaat belief yang mendukung keberhasilan kita. Belief menentukan realita kita seperti yang dikatakan oleh Roy Blount, Jr., “It's my belief that sanity lies in realizing that reality is not exactly what we had in mind” (Saya percaya bahwa kewarasan adalah dengan menyadari bahwa realitas tidak persis sama dengan apa yang ada di pikiran kita).
Pakar NLP Robert Dilts mengatakan bahwa belief mempunyai tiga bentuk: • sebagai generalisasi relasi di antara pengalaman • sebagai generalisasi makna • sebagai generalisasi batasan/limit
Dalam setiap kondisi faktor utamanya adalah generalisasi. Generalisasi berasal dari kata generalization yang berarti “a statement presented as a general truth but based on limited or incomplete evidence” atau “sebuah pernyataan yang dipandang sebagai kebenaran umum tetapi hanya berdasar pada bukti yang terbatas atau tidak lengkap”.
Untuk lebih mudahnya generalisasi dapat dipandang sebagai suatu simpulan atas suatu kejadian atau pengalaman. Selanjutnya setelah simpulan ini dipandang sebagai hal yang benar dan kita terima ”kebenarannya” kita lupa bahwa ini hanyalah suatu simpulan. Bisa jadi simpulan kita ternyata salah.
Kita mengkonstruk aturan internal mengenai relasi, makna, dan batasan sebagai hasil dari kebiasaan inteprestasi/pemaknaan pengalaman kita dengan tujuan untuk memudahkan proses pembuatan keputusan. Generalisasi, untuk mudahnya, dapat kita samakan dengan simpulan.
Kita memahami dunia di sekitar kita yang kompleks dengan menciptakan aturan-aturan sederhana untuk pengalaman masa lalu. Aturan ini kadang kita gunakan untuk menterjemahkan (baca: mengerti) pengalaman baru. Aturan ini sangat membantu dan memudahkan kita untuk menjalani hidup. Bila kita selalu harus mencari makna dari setiap pengalaman hidup, melalui proses berpikir logis, maka hal ini akan sangat membebani pikiran kita. Belief merupakan jalan pintas untuk membuat keputusan dan sebagai generalisasi untuk membantu kita bereaksi dengan cepat tanpa harus lama-lama berpikir.
Limiting belief atau kepercayaan yang bersifat menghambat meliputi banyak hal, antara lain: • Kepribadian (mis: rasa percaya diri, sifat humoris) • Citra diri (mis: ukuran, berat tubuh, warna kulit, bentuk tubuh) • Kecerdasan (mis: IQ,EQ,CQ,FQ,SQ) • Orang lain (mis:kawan, musuh, bos, orangtua, anak) • Kelompok orang (mis: yang berjanggut, para direktur atau komisaris perusahaan, para orangtua) • Institusi (mis: kepolisian, sekolah, Kantor Pelayanan Pajak) • Peluang (mis: berat tubuh saya menghalangi saya, seandainya saya lebih berani, orang lain bernasib lebih baik dari saya) • Performa (mis: orang lain bisa sukses tapi saya tidak)
Bagaimana belief terbentuk?
Belief terbentuk melalui suatu proses yang rumit. Kita perlu memahami proses pembentukkan belief agar mudah melakukan modifikasi atau perubahan pada belief. Langkah awal untuk mengubah belief adalah dengan percaya bahwa belief bisa diubah atau dimodifikasi sesuai kebutuhan kita. Lha, kalau anda nggak percaya bahwa beliefbisa diotak-atik maka belief ini akan menghambat upaya untuk mengubah belief anda.
Proses pembentukan belief diawali saat kita mengalami suatu kejadian. Setelah mengalami suatu kejadian apa yang kita lakukan? Pikiran akan memberikan makna pada pengalaman ini. Ingat! Setiap kejadian pada dasarnya bersifat netral. Tidak punya makna. Pikiranlah yang memberikan makna. Makna yang diberikan bisa positif, negatif, atau netral. Dan makna ini selalu benar menurut kita.
Selanjutnya makna akan mengakibatkan munculnya emosi yang sejalan dengan makna itu. Bila pikiran kita memberikan makna positif terhadap suatu pengalaman atau kejadian yang kita alami maka yang muncul adalah emosi positif. Bila maknanya negatif maka emosinya juga negatif. Setelah itu emosi akan mempengaruhi proses selanjutnya.
Apakah setelah muncul emosi kita akan langsung mengadopsi suatu belief? Oh, tidak. Prosesnya nggak sesederhana ini. Setelah emosi muncul, pikiran akan mencoba menguji kebenaran makna. Pikiran kita akan mencari data-data pendukung terhadap makna yang telah diputuskannya. Pikiran, dalam proses mencari data pendukung, menggunakan navigasi yang dipengaruhi oleh jenis dan tingkat intensitas emosi.
Saat pikiran berhasil menemukan data pendukung maka makna diterima sebagai sesuatu yang benar atau valid. Sampai di sini pikiran masih juga belum mengadopsi belief atas makna suatu kejadian. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pikiran, setelah menerima dan menyatakan ”kebenaran” suatu makna, mulai menyesuaikan diri dan mengeras menjadi suatu bentuk respon yang bersifat repetitif (kebiasan berpikir). Nah, setelah ini barulah tercipta pola belief yang mendukung mode berpikir.
Apakah proses ini hanya sampai di sini? Tidak. Masih ada dua tahap lanjutan. Apa yang terjadi setelah pikiran mengadopsi belief? Belief akan mempengaruhi pola pikir dan perilaku. Yang dimaksud dengan perilaku adalah respon yang secara otomotasi akan muncul di masa depan terhadap pengalaman yang serupa dengan pengalaman sebelumnya.
Apa yang terjadi bila kita bertindak atau berperilaku dengan suatu pola tertentu? Benar sekali, perilaku kita menentukan pencapaian prestasi hidup alias nasib kita.
Lalu, bagaimana caranya untuk mengubah belief? Belief mempunyai ”logika”nya sendiri. ”Logika” belief belum tentu sejalan dengan logika pikiran sadar anda. ”Logika” belief belum tentu sejalan dengan realitas. Kita harus memahami benar prinsip ini untuk bisa mengubah belief kita.
Ada satu kisah menarik yang diceritakan oleh Abraham Maslow. Seorang psikiater menangani kliennya yang percaya bahwa ia (si klien) adalah mayat. Si psikiater ini berusaha keras untuk menjelaskan, dengan menggunakan logika orang waras, bahwa hal ini tidak masuk akal. Semua cara telah dilakukan untuk meyakinkan si klien bahwa ia bukan mayat. Namun si klien tetap bersikeras percaya bahwa ia adalah mayat.
Dalam keputusasaannya tiba-tiba terbersit satu ide dalam pikiran si psikiater. Ia lalu bertanya pada kliennya, “Mayat mengeluarkan darah, nggak?”. “Sudah tentu tidak. Mana ada mayat yang mengeluarkan darah”, jawab si klien mantap.
Si psikiater lalu meminta ijin untuk menusuk ujung jari kliennya dengan jarum. Apa yang terjadi? Sudah tentu ujung jari si klien mengeluarkan darah.
Si klien, saat melihat jarinya mengeluarkan darah, begitu kaget dan terperangah, “Ini nggak masuk akal. Nggak ada mayat yang mengeluarkan darah”. Si klien sembuh.
Mengapa ia sembuh? Karena apa yang dilakukan psikiater ini telah membuktikan bahwa “logika” belief si klien ternyata salah. Begitu “logika” belief terbukti salah maka belief tidak lagi mempunyai pendukung. Dengan demikian belief akan rontok dengan sendirinya.[awg]

How do I get Paid?
Get paid monthly with minimum account balance of $10 and carry forward of unpaid amounts. You have the option to increase your minimum payment to $25, $50 or $100. All payments will be in US dollars and made via PayPal or e-gold, depending on the country you reside in. While we would love to pay everyone, regulations set forth by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), an office of the US Treasury, prohibits myLot is from sending money to certain countries. The good news is users from all countries will still be able to participate in myLot discussions, the bad news is users from countries included on the OFAC list will not be able to earn money for their contributions. To enter your PayPal email address, click on the edit button next to your username at the top of the page while you are signed in. Here you will be able to enter all the information we need in order to pay you.
Do I need a credit card to sign up for a PayPal account?
We called PayPal and they tell us you do not need a credit card to open an account or receive funds. They did say that in order to withdraw the money to your bank you would have to link you bank account.
What if I already have a PayPal account?
That’s great! All you have to do if you already have a PayPal Account is enter it into your myLot profile. You can enter your PayPal email address by clicking on the edit button next to your username at the top of the page while signed into your myLot account. Once you have clicked on the edit profile button you will need to click on the edit payment information link at the top of the page. Here you will be able to enter all the information we need in order to pay you
What if PayPal is not available in my country?
First, click here to find out if PayPal is available in your country. If it is not, you will need an e-gold account.
e-gold is a way to get you money to those where PayPal is not offered. E-gold is electronic currency backed by gold bullion. It is a payment system that allows gold to be used as a form of payment. Click here to sign up for an e-gold account today.
What can I do to increase my earnings?

Use myLot, post discussions, respond to discussions.
Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic.
Refer friends. For each person you send to myLot you will receive 25% of their earnings.
How do I refer friends?
All myLot users are automatically eligible to make money by referring new users to myLot. Invite friends, family, new acquaintances, forum buddies, or whomever you wish. You will receive a bonus equal to 25% of their earnings.
